what we wore.
Wednesdays are now for seeing what we wear!
So here’s Ginna’s round up of what she wore on her trip to Vegas!
I posted a month or so ago (here) about an upcoming trip to Vegas I had and how much I was struggling with the proverbial question-what am I going to wear? Well, I am back from Sin City and happy to report that I did not in fact go naked but was able to piece together some outfits for our nights on the town!
However, I would like to take advantage of this platform and make a public service announcement: If you ever find yourself packing for a trip to Las Vegas-don’t worry (as much as I did!) about what to wear! For the most part girls in Vegas look like they are auditioning for the next season of The Jersey Shore.
Don’t try to blend in-my sister and I observed that the more demure we looked and the more Southern we sounded the more free drinks we got!
Now for what I wore:
On the way there I wore this Lilly dress with an old J.Crew cardigan
It turned out to be the perfect thing because when we got into the Vegas heat I could take the cardigan off and still look good!
Stocking up for the hotel room!
The first night there we didn’t have any shows to go to so we walked all around the strip and into the different casinos! The night ended with a fantastic dinner at LAVO!
My sister is wearing a navy dress from Bloomingdale’s, can’t remember the designer-I wish I had gotten a picture of the open back! My tank, skirt, and necklace are J Crew.
The next night we went to see “O” by Cirque Du Soleil at the Bellagio. I highly recommend it!
After “O” we walked over to The Paris for dinner at Sugar Factory then met some friends at TAO Nightclub!
During the day we spent the majority of our time by our amazing pool! This is a terrible picture- sister is wearing an older Lilly coverup and I turned an Anthropologie tunic from last year into a cover-up over my Lilly bikini!
The last night we were there we went to the Celine Dion concert at Caesar’s-words cannot describe how good it was! If you are anything like us and can define your childhood by the “Let’s Talk About Love” album (the one with My Heart Will Go On) then you would have loved it too!
We had a fabulous time and I would highly recommend everything we did!!
